A total number of 147 Gambians were over the weekend deported from the Kingdom of Morocco, reliable sources have disclosed to this paper.
According to our sources, the 147 deportees were caught trying to enter Spain in wooden vessels they were believed to have boarded from the Senegalese northern region of Casamance.
The would-be immigrants were reportedly intercepted by the Moroccan Navy, who detained them before repatriating them.
