Cheating butcher fined

Sorry Bailo Bah, a butcher at the Serekunda Market, was yesterday fined D5,000 in default to serve a three-month imprisonment term by Senior Magistrate Abdoulie Mbake of the Kanifing Magistrates Court.

Sorry Bailo pleaded guilty to the charge of cheating. He is said to have sold a half kilo of meat at D50 instead of the stipulated price of D40.  The offense was said have been committed last month at the Serekunda Market.
