President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali of Tunisia has felicitated President Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh on the advent of the Muslim Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a message sent to the Gambian leader, President Ben Ali states: “On the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan and on my behalf and that of the Tunisian government and people, it gives me great pleasure to address to Your Excellency, heartiest felicitation and best wishes for health, happiness; and to wish the brotherly Gambian people more progress and well-being.”
“On this occasion, may the Almighty grant our two brotherly peoples, the African continent and the Islamic Ummah peace and prosperity,” President Ben Ali prays.
Meanwhile, Lamin Kiti Jabang, the Gambian ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has also sent greetings to Dr Jammeh in observance of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“On the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan, it gives me great pleasure to extend to you my fraternal greetings and sincere best wishes for your good health and continued happiness.
May Allah, the Almighty, in this Holy Month accept our prayers, forgive our sins, and bestow upon us his bountiful blessings and grant us further progress and prosperity. Please accept Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration and esteem,” Ambassador Jabang noted.
