A noble cause worth supporting

A genuine course is often conceived from a genuine thought and its target beneficiaries justify its mission. The effort of the brains behind such noble establishments often makes obvious this fact. This is the case of the Jammeh Foundation for Peace, an institution that has become a household name in The Gambia and beyond. JFP gained its reputation in The Gambia for the incredibly wonderful stance it takes regarding the welfare of its people.
 
Its intervention in the academic arena alone has impacted enormously on the lives of hundreds, if not thousands of people, both within and outside the country. School authorities across the country can attest to this; the number of students benefiting from the Foundation on overseas scholarship is equally incredible. A number of these beneficiaries now contribute actively in the development endeavors of the nation in their diverse ways. The Foundation has also excelled in the area of health promotion, through the laudable performance of the Jammeh Foundation for Peace Hospital.

It is reassuring to note that the crucial role the Foundation plays is recognized by even people outside the country, thus their participation and contribution to its fundraising efforts. It follows that the continuation of the good work of the Foundation is crucial to the development of The Gambia, and that is what makes it incumbent on every single Gambian to play an equally active role in ensuring the sustenance of its lifeline.
