Nokia announces plans for iPhone competitor

Announced at early Wednesday morning at Nokia's GoEvent, Nokia is developing a mobile phone similar to the iPhone, which will be available in the near future for Nokia customers. They plan that they will have the phone available as soon as next year.

When Nokia was asked about the striking similarity between this and the iPhone, Nokia's Executive Vice President and General Manager of Multimedia, Anssi Vanjoki, said, "If there is something good in the world then we copy with pride."
