POEMS- The Gambia: our dear Motherland , Time

The Gambia has traded in its three-star package beach holidays, for floating, eco-retreats surrounded by mangroves, very calm and peaceful.

Gambia, the Smiling Coast of Africa, moonlight illuminates the glass lanterns throughout the beaches, walkways across watery mangroves, each has its own dug-out canoe for paddling through the brackisk creek, which is alive with jumping fish, and humming dragonflies.

Stay in The Gambia: a peaceful and lovely country whose people are lovely, generous and kind.

The Gambia is a heaven in Africa, where one can make a good living.



Time

The sun shines on books, nowadays and its shade is a reflection of your  hardwork.

The time is a tide and is like a river without banks.

It narrows and shortens the path of progress and squeezes the effort for optimism.

Let those who have ears listen,

and those with eyes see.

The time is not friendly but to those who wish to swim in this direction or fly within its limits.
